Projects
FEC Company Wiki (login required)
Project and document management in our growing agency needs to be flexible and accessible. Our small core team works with a group of partners and freelancers, so managing server logins and proprietary format documents isn’t efficient. Our structure makes us nimble and responsive, but the client/server architecture doesn’t. To make sure every team member and client has access to the most current information, I’m building a wiki to preserve our collective knowledge.
The wiki will contain frequently updated, shared resources. One example is a client Style Guide. We do a lot of copywriting; and we make sure that it’s accurate and consistent. Although we follow the most common standards, each client has exceptions and special words and phrases that apply only to their organization. And that list grows, with each and every piece. Our wiki will help us keep track of that list and inform the next copywriter or designer, so that he or she can learn quickly and produce efficiently.
